Cooper's is my third attempt at finding a quality service provider, having had contracts previously with two other "major" firms in Tallahassee. It was a delight when the Cooper's technician made the first visit - knowledgeable, equipped, detailed service, and terrific communications. And no "heavy handed sells pitch" for other services, like I experienced with previous agencies. Since then, I've had multiple appointments with Cooper's and every time I've felt 100% satisfied. I incorrectly wired my new Nest thermostat, because the first installer didn't properly wire the original thermostat. A real person picked up the phone to get a tech out to my house on a Sunday, she was very compassionate and empathetic. The tech, Nathan, showed up on a Sunday morning happy, helpful, and kind. He put up with all my questions, and didn't mind letting me look over his shoulder while he explained EVERYTHING he was doing. Very patient, honest and REAL. "The only stupid question is the one not asked," he said. He also did a full system check. Great price for a weekend call. I even signed up for the yearly membership. Out of 4 quotes they were the fastest, most professional, best at explaining the issues and options, and although they were not the least costly, they were significantly cheaper than most and only a few dollars from being the cheapest. I had routine maintenance performed on my AC unit by Cooper's. The technician arrived at the promised time for the appointment and took measures to cover his shoes and keep my carpet clean. He not only performed the required maintenance, he took the time to explain what he was doing and explain things that could be done to heat and cool our home more efficiently. Upon completion, he offered suggestions on items that could be purchased to possibly extend the life of our AC unit but did not try and pressure me into buying something. I purchased my AC unit in 2012 from Cooper's and have been extremely satisfied with the service received and the operation of the unit. I highly recommend this company for installation and maintenance of AC equipment. Eric B.
